Base wax - CH4X
Glide wax - LF4X or HF4X
Fluoro - FC4X Cera F powder ironed in at 165C.
Notes: Drip on the glide wax in short sections, 4-6" at a time. Use the end of the wax block to spread the wax onto the ski base. This helps bind all the wax together before ironing.
These waxes are very hard. Iron temperature should be 150-155C. It will take numerous passes of the iron to melt the wax into the base. It will take at least 6-8 passes or more.
Move the iron faster at the tips and tails as the ski is thinner and you risk burning the base.
If the wax breaks off in chunks when scraping, you either didn't have the iron hot enough or you didn't make enough passes of the iron.
The wax should come off as fine particles when scraping, not chunks.
Brush 3-4 times with the fine steel brush, then the medium bronze brush.
Make sure you brush the waxes out well after scraping, finishing with either a Horsehair or Boars hair brush. Polish with the blue brush.

Use a ski with a fine cold grind.
Binder - VG35 ironed in
Kick wax - VR30. Start by corking in 2-3 layers according to the shape of the wax pocket. Once you have your kick layers dialed in at the track, add 1 thin full length layer of V05 Polar corked smooth for added speed.
